Golden Cauliflower by Samantha Dahl Shapin
1 head of cauliflower, cut into florets
1 tsp kosher salt
1/2 tsp turmeric
1/2 tsp ground cumin
1/4 tsp ground black pepper
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
3 tablespoons olive oil
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. In a large bowl add cauliflower florets, sprinkle salt and spices over top. Drizzle with olive oil. Toss well to coat. Spread out cauliflower on a large baking sheet or roasting pan. Roast for 20-30 minutes until tender. Great served hot or chilled. If served cold, it makes a great addition to a steak salad!
**You can also cook this on the grill by wrapping the cauliflower in a foil packet. Just be sure to open the packet and move things around a couple times to make sure the bottom doesn’t burn and to check the tenderness of the cauliflower.
